The Reading Success Program was built to help children become stronger, more confident readers, and to help the adults around them support that growth. For schools and districts, we’re preparing:

Step-by-step lessons in foundational skills (phonics, vocabulary, fluency), comprehension, and confidence, from the 12-week program.
Assessment-guided paths
An assessment identifies where each child should begin, so students work on the skills they need, not simply material based on age or grade.
Family engagement
Parent teaching guides and community sessions that help families reinforce reading at home, in English and Spanish.
Live sessions for educators
Live webinars and sessions with Dr. Nancy Barker for district leaders, teachers, and staff.
Progress checks
Regular checks and a reassessment report showing strengths, observed progress, and remaining needs.
Bilingual communication
Materials and outreach for families in English and Spanish / inglés y español.
How a pilot could work
Every district is different, so a pilot would be designed with you. A typical outline might look like this:
Conversation
Dr. Nancy meets with your team to understand goals, student populations, schedules, and existing curriculum.
Scope
Agree on a small group of classrooms or students, the 12-week timeline, family involvement, and what will be measured.
Launch & support
Starting assessments, staff orientation, a family kickoff, and live check-in sessions during the 12 weeks.
Review
Reassessment and a joint review of what worked, what didn’t, and whether to expand.

- 12-Week Progress Reassessment & Report At the end of the program, your child completes a fresh assessment showing strengths, observed progress, remaining needs, and the recommended next learning step.
