1. Agreement. These Terms are a contract between you and Read Like Rocky. By creating an account, taking the free assessment, or buying a program, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy.
2. Accounts are for parents. You must be 18 or older and the parent or legal guardian of any child who uses your account. You are responsible for your child’s use, for keeping your login private, and for the accuracy of what you enter. Children may not create their own accounts.
3. What we provide. Reading assessments, lessons, parent guides, progress reports, live and recorded parent sessions, and related tools. Some features are in Beta and may change, pause or have bugs. We may update lessons and features to improve them.
4. Educational support, not a guarantee. Our programs are designed to help children build reading skills. Results vary by child. Assessments are screening tools, not medical, psychological or special-education diagnoses (such as dyslexia or ADHD). For concerns about a learning difference, talk to your child’s school or a licensed professional.
5. Live sessions and community. Live sessions are group sessions; individual consultations are not included unless you buy them. Sessions may be recorded and added to the member library. Be respectful: no harassment, spam, sharing other families’ information, or posting photos or details of children other than your own. We may remove content or members who break these rules.
6. Payments. Prices, billing periods, minimum terms and refunds are set out on the checkout page and in our Refund Policy. You authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method for what you buy.
7. Rewards and tokens. Tokens, medals, discounts and prizes are promotional, have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may be changed or ended with notice. Physical prizes and gift cards are sent only to the parent on the account.
8. Our content. All lessons, videos, Rocky characters, guides and materials belong to Read Like Rocky or its licensors. Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable license for use with children in your household. Do not copy, resell, share logins, or use our materials to teach classes or clients without a written license.

9. Your content. You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to display it in the community and to run the service. We will ask before using your name, image, or story in marketing.
10. Subscription access. Our family plans are subscriptions. You have access to your program while your subscription is active. You can cancel anytime to stop future billing, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Refunds, including our 7-day money-back guarantee, are described in our Refund Policy. If we ever stop offering a program you subscribe to, we will give at least 60 days’ notice and a way to download your parent materials.
11. Disclaimers. The service is provided “as is.” We do our best to keep it available and accurate but do not promise it will be error-free or uninterrupted.
12. Limit of liability. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under Oregon or other consumer-protection law.
13. Ending your account. You can cancel anytime as described in our Refund Policy. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, without a refund of prepaid fees except as described in our 7-day money-back guarantee.
14. Disputes. Please contact us first at support@readlikerocky.com; we will try to resolve it within 30 days. These Terms are governed by Oregon law. Any lawsuit will be brought in the state or federal courts in Lane County, Oregon, except that either side may use small-claims court.
15. Changes. We may update these Terms. We will email you before material changes take effect. Changes that affect children’s information follow the Privacy Policy and need your consent.
